The Book of Enoch is an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text, traditionally attributed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah (Genesis 5:18–24). The text is primarily preserved in its entirety in Ge'ez (Ethiopic), though Aramaic fragments were found among the Dead Sea Scrolls.
