The film serves as a "spiritual sequel" to 1996's Beavis and Butt-Head Do America . The story begins in 1998, where our protagonists find themselves sentenced to Space Camp by a frustrated judge. In a series of events that only Beavis and Butt-Head could bumble through, they end up on a space shuttle, pass through a black hole, and emerge in the year 2022. Shut up, Beavis

The new movie takes the dynamic duo on an intergalactic adventure. After getting caught by their teacher, David Van Driessen, Beavis and Butt-Head are sent to a detention center that turns out to be a portal to outer space. As they travel through the cosmos, they encounter bizarre planets, alien species, and, of course, plenty of heavy metal music.
