When newlyweds Mia (Annabelle Wallis) and John (John Cusack) welcome a beautiful antique doll into their home as a gift for their newborn daughter, they have no idea that the seemingly harmless souvenir carries a malevolent presence. After a terrifying night in which a demonic entity attacks them, the couple is forced to confront the dark history of the doll, which is linked to a series of gruesome murders.
