Commercially, Brigandine is now owned by Happinet (Japan) and has seen a remaster, Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia (2020). However, Runersia is a spiritual successor, not a port. The original Grand Edition , with its 2D sprite art and pre-rendered cutscenes, remains locked on the PlayStation 1.
