The story follows (Madhuri Dixit), a professional choreographer living in New York. She returns to her hometown of Shamli, India , upon learning her former dance mentor is dying. After his passing, Dia discovers his dying wish: to save Ajanta , the town’s dilapidated open-air theater, from being demolished to make way for a shopping mall.
